I would note that jobs that excite you, believe in, and are good at will likely have a lot of competition. High demand low supply. Rare and valuable.

The writer Cal Newport says that if you want something that’s rare and valuable, you need something that’s rare and valuable in return. In other words, work up the skills and expertise and position yourself away from the competition.

Practice, study, and work should be considered in the equation!
